Processing Lab Technician 

Job Type:Full-Time; Non-Exempt 
Location:Hammonton, NJ 08037
Starting Pay-Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm

Who You Are: 

As a Processing Lab Technician at Curaleaf, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality cannabis products while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company standards. You’re comfortable working with chemicals and lab equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety at all times. Your ability to track data accurately, follow safety protocols, and maintain organization in a lab setting makes you a valuable team member. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning glassware, workstations, and equipment. 
  • Track and document data using internal tracking systems such as BioTrack and METRC. 
  • Assist in quality assurance testing and visual inspections to ensure all products meet company standards. 
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, including accurate weighing, product tracking, and proper labeling. 
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures. 
  • Prepare and process materials according to daily production needs. 
  • Support lab operations by assisting with preventative maintenance, calibration, and sanitation of equipment. 
  • Collaborate with team members to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain a smooth workflow. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management.  

What You Will Bring: 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Basic math skills and ability to understand weights and measurements. 
  • Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment. 
  • Comfort working with and handling chemicals safely. 
  • Ability to work independently with given directives. 

Even Better If: 

  • You have previous experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or laboratory environments. 
  • You have familiarity with compliance regulations in the cannabis industry.  

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, use hands to finger or feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
