Your role in our mission

 

Develop your career as you support Gainwell’s focus on creating innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions to deliver better health and human services outcomes.

 

• Design/create, maintain, deploy and manage SSIS packages for internal business teams and our customers.
• Work collaboratively with IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support ETL packages in a compliant/regulated environment.
• Escalate concerns to project manager/team lead; and assist in determining best practices.
• Facilitates and/or participates in JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion and any other method of data exchange. 
• Develop, test, manage and implement SSIS packages from development server to production server using package configuration.
• Maintenance and administration of SSIS by creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and schedule DTS/SSIS packages.
• Design and guide other developers on complicated interfaces and debug issues 
• Create design documents and understand business functionality
• Automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs
• Formulate and document ETL process design based on business requirements and system specification

What we're looking for

 

• 9+ years of IT experience in applications design or related role with experience designing, developing and implementing highly complex computer programs
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and MS SQL Scripting
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server version 2014 or higher (required)
• Analytical skills in a SQL environment
• Experience in the following is strongly desired:  Healthcare IT (claims/member/provider data), QNXT and/or FACETS Healthcare Payer Platforms

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
