Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of HII is currently seeking a Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Mission Planner to support the 132nd Combat Training Squadron (CTS), Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC) located in Des Moines, Iowa. The Intelligence Mission Planner will provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment during DMO event planning and execution. #LI-MJ1

Essential Job Responsibilities

Provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment during DMO event mission planned and execution. Applies emerging doctrine and tactics, whether detailed in formal doctrinal changes or emanating from Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities, to mission scenarios design and development. Duties include, but are not limited to:

        • Create and distribute MPC packages as directed by the Government.  

          • MPC materials can include, but are not limited to:

  • Scenario coordination sheets

  • Air Tasking Order (ATO), Fragmentary Breakouts, and Air Control Order (ACO)

  • Air Order of Battle (AOB) and Ground Order of Battle (GOB) lay-downs

  • Special Instructions (SPIN) and Rules of Engagement (ROE)

  • Maps and target photos

  • Line-up and/or communication cards

  • Briefing/Debriefing slides

        • Products are to be created IAW current operational Air Force or DoD styles/templates.

        • Create scenarios within Environment Generator software to support OT events.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience. 

  • Current or previous qualifications related to military intelligence within the last 5 years.

  • Must know how to use stimulation software applications

  • Must understand basic AFTTP 3-1 TTPs and Joint Warfare Publications

  • Experience in running or planning in an active mission planning cell

  • Qualified or previously qualified mission commander, section lead, or equivalent

  • Experience in creating and disseminating CONOPS and Products IAW current Air Force or DoD Styles.
