Job Duties

Provides clerical and administrative support. Maintains filing systems, copies, and distributes materials, and purges inactive files. Performs keyboarding duties, entering data into forms, documents, and agency data systems. Produces administrative reports and correspondences.

Minimum Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment. Working knowledge of manual and automated filing systems and Standard English grammar, punctuation, and usage. Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions; maintain effective working relationships; and learn new procedures and equipment. Ability to organize and complete work independently, apply operating procedures, and prepare written responses to inquiries. Considerable recent experience providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting. Ability to set up and maintain filing systems, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and fax machines.

Additional Considerations

Experience in providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting. Background in record keeping. Experience using CORIS.
