What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of manufacturing objectives with overall company goals.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

  • Use Lean Manufacturing and CORE operating principles to drive process optimization.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.

  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.

  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies.

  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control procedures.

  • Monitor production metrics and quality data to identify areas for improvement.

  • Work closely with NPI team, facilities, engineering and operations teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.

  • Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

  • Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

  • Proven project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing process simulation tools.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
