We are looking to expand the Technology Transformation 2.0 Program team. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager who will work horizontally across the technology organization as a TT2.0 Delivery Lead. You will partner with imperative stakeholders to have a deep understanding of tech imperative, metrics, risks/issues, key deliverables and coordinate status and slide content for bi-weekly leadership meetings. Internally, the ideal candidate will also create, design and execute projects within the Technology Transformation 2.0 Program team in a fast paced environment. 

 Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Work on large scale projects across the technology organization

• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed

• Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.

• Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation

• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to understand processes and drive results

• Identify ways to improve and streamline business process

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 5 years of experience in Technology Project Management or Technology Program Management

• At least 2 years of experience in Google Suite (Sheets and Slides) 
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree 

• 2+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence 

• 2+ years of people leadership experience

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management

 

Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
