From the project’s kick-off to its closure, as a Senior Project Manager, you will be charge of managing our projects being focused on its success, for both Customer and Opentext. Your primary role will be to manage implementation projects including all aspects of project management, as of communication, project’s activities follow-up, risks management, reporting (both internal and external), financial monitoring and escalation. But through the close relationships you will build with your customers, you will also play a key role in helping the PS sales team grow our business.

 

 

What the role offers

 

As a Senior Project manager, your main activities will focus on:

• Planning and monitoring project’s activities and resources
• Managing project’s scope
• Identifying and mitigating Risks
• Reporting and communicating on project’s progress (both internal and external)
• Monitoring financial aspect of the project (Revenue and Margin)
• Managing escalation with all internal teams at OT.

 

You will help and support PS Sales teams to develop our activity with customers you will oversee, meaning helping with project’s scoping, effort estimation and proposals’ writing.

 

Finally, as an expert in Project Management, you will have multiple opportunities to share your experience by participating in forums, conferences, and discussions.

 

 

What you need to suceed

 

• Graduated as a Computer Engineer (or equivalent training) and has worked in IT project management,
• Knowledge of the EIM technologies such as ECM and Archiving, and ability to hold strategic discussions around their deployment is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrable strength in planning
• Ability to build and manage strong customer relationships, both internal and external
• Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems and to obtain relevant information needed to perform a given task
• High communication skills in Italian and English are essential for this position (reading, writing, and speaking).
