Ultragenyx is seeking a highly motivated individual to support our Legal Department-Policy, Government and Public Affairs team to continue developing communication materials to help tell our story to key global, federal, state and local policymakers. The ideal candidate demonstrates critical and solution based thinking skills, works collaboratively cross-departments and enjoys a dynamic environment. This position will report to the Vice President, Policy, Government and Public Affairs.
Work Model:
Remote: Officially documented as working full-time from home, with travel to Ultragenyx's offices or other locations on occasion as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop communication deliverables on rare disease education modules and materials, including video development and working with communication colleagues
- Support the development of customized external communication pieces for key local, state and federal activity
- Support the global policy communications and talking points with key country colleagues
- Support our political footprint database project, including developing ex-US footprint project documents
Requirements:
- Current bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare or Public Policy-related work
- Proficiency in MS applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clearly and effectively
- Ability to manage vendor contractor activity on time-sensitive deadlines
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills with internal colleagues and external vendors #LI-AJ1 #LI-REMOTE
