The role: 

Join Us as a Senior Business Systems Analyst! We’re looking for an experienced professional to help us design and improve the systems that keep our organization running smoothly. In this role, you’ll work on large, complex projects that may span multiple divisions. You’ll analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and make sure systems meet those needs. You’ll also be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and supporting customers with challenging issues.

This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end on or before 06/30/2027. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position has the potential to become permanent.

A day in the life:

  • Analyze and document business needs and requirements for software development or procurement to improve business processes.

  • Design and oversee system architecture, including diagrams, reports, screens, and data layouts for large, complex projects.

  • Collaborate with customers to identify solutions, negotiate action plans, and ensure systems meet business needs.

  • Develop business and system architecture documents and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across divisions.

  • Participate in project teams to deliver solutions on time, within standards, and aligned with phased development plans.

  • Prepare and recommend cost, time estimates, and performance factors for proposed solutions.

  • Lead or conduct testing at all levels to ensure quality and functionality of systems.

  • Plan and evaluate hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and new technologies for enterprise systems.

  • Ensure data integrity by enforcing standards, refining data models, and resolving critical data issues.

  • Provide expert troubleshooting and customer support, including training users and resolving complex system problems.

  • Work is performed in an office environment with hybrid work options available.
