SENIOR TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER – TEMPORARY

Based out of Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike to fill highly critical roles. This is a full life-cycle recruitment position – you will own everything from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers. You’ll play an integral role in fulfilling our mission to open access to space to improve life on earth, by hiring innovators who will help shape our rapidly expanding programs! You’ll also support strategic projects and initiatives for the TA team and broader People & Culture department.

*This is a 6-month fixed-term role for immediate hire, with the potential opportunity to convert to full-time employment upon term completion. This role sits onsite at our global HQ in Long Beach, CA – remote work is not considered for this position.*

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Serve as a strategic hiring expert and partner to hiring managers and business unit leaders
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine the requirements and expectations for their open positions, and the qualities of their ideal candidate
  • Manage the full hiring life-cycle, from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers
  • Screen candidates for open roles and guide them through the interview process
  • Build a diverse pipeline of talent, including passive candidates, through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking
  • Utilize our ATS (Greenhouse) to build reports and analyze key metrics on recruiting activities to drive process improvements

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of full-time recruiting experience

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Agency and in-house recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for the aerospace & defense industry
  • Experience recruiting for engineering roles such as: software, production, manufacturing, test, mechanical, electrical, systems, propulsion, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting high-performing teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers at all levels, as well as candidates and external partners
  • Previous experience sourcing for highly technical and niche roles

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing  
  • Must be physically able to commute to buildings 
  • Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, and moderate levels of noise 

Senior TA Partner Hourly Pay Range: $40/hour - $60/hour

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related know
