About the role
<p><span>Support all Manufacturing Engineering functions for North America powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs. The primary role of this function is to participate within an Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost for both new model (NM), non-new model (NNM), and adaptation</span><br/><span>programs.</span></p>
<p><br/><span><strong>Main responsibilities include:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies</span></li>
<li><span>Understand engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), sourcing, technical</span><br/><span>evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration</span></li>
<li><span>Support and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure</span><br/><span>that approved programs are completed on time and within budget</span></li>
<li><span>Support all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine</span><br/><span>installation</span></li>
<li><span>Support flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron</span><br/><span>Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)</span></li>
<li><span>Participate in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodology, supporting</span><br/><span>all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause</span><br/><span>problem solving methods to attack risks</span></li>
<li><span>Development/improvement of process and equipment standards related to facilities</span><br/><span>infrastructure</span></li>
<li><span>Manufacturing Plants located in Dundee, Michigan (MI), Trenton, Michigan (MI), Kokomo,</span><br/><span>Indiana (IN) and Saltillo, Mexico (MX); Transmission Plants in Kokomo and Tipton, Indiana (IN);</span><br/><span>Casting Plants in Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Etobicoke, Ontario (ON), Toledo, Ohio (OH), in</span><br/><span>conjunction with Global Center of Competency initiatives</span></li>
<li><span>Drive standardization across plants in all regions</span></li>
</ul>
<strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong>
<p><span><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline or High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization</span></li>
<li><span>Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats</span></li>
<li><span>Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure</span></li>
<li><span>Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning</span></li>
<li><span>Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge a plus</span></li>
</ul>
<p><br/><span><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or technical equivalent</span></li>
<li><span>Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent</span></li>
<li><span>10 years of manufacturing experience, powertrain manufacturing experience a plus</span></li>
<li><span>5 years’ experience in program management or multi-tasking environment</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to work with cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing products</span></li>
