Role Overview:
As a Sr. Buyer, you will manage and support the procurement of goods and services for Hyundai AutoEver America and its Business Clients and provide purchasing information to the Client to support their business needs.
- Lead procurement activities, including pricing negotiations, RFX processes, and vendor evaluations to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Manage purchasing operations, placing orders, tracking PR/PO status, and ensuring compliance with HAEA’s procurement policies.
- Oversee vendor and risk management, working with legal and third-party suppliers to negotiate contract terms and mitigate risks.
- Support team operations, assigning workloads, handling user and supplier requests, and guiding stakeholders on procurement procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with over 8 years of professional work experience.
- Proficient in business documentation, including requirements gathering, process flows, status reports, and presentations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
- Highly self-motivated and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a commitment to getting the job done.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPSM, CSM, or CPM certification preferred
