Description
The Department of Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine invites applications for Assistant, Associate on Term Professor positions in the Traditional, tenure track. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and education. The Department aims to fill two positions.
The Department of Cell Biology is home to a highly talented faculty who are currently and historically world leaders in the field. We foster an environment that prioritizes innovative, curiosity-driven science and training. We are highly collaborative and value novel approaches for addressing fundamental questions in cell biology.
Applications are invited from individuals capable of leading exciting, exceptional and innovative research programs that are pushing the boundaries of modern Cell Biology.
Laboratory and office space will be provided alongside access to excellent core facilities in a new building with an entire floor dedicated to the Department of Cell Biology. This home facilitates the fostering of a cohesive community and promotes both formal and informal scientific exchange.
Candidates will be expected to contribute to the department’s teaching programs in the graduate and medical schools. Strong scientific, management, and interpersonal skills are required. Appointment at the Assistant or Associate levels will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
