Senior Software Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a tenacious engineer to lead a fast-paced agile development team on a high visibility contract. The candidate must be able to drive and work with their team to use best practices in DevSecOps to drive change in the cleared government sector. Our software engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers. The successful candidate will design, develop, document, test and debug application software. Other daily tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Working on a collaborative team of subject matter experts to conduct analysis and assist in the planning, designing and developing of electronic data processing systems.
- Customizing the use of electronic data processing systems for information storage, presentation, manipulation, displaying and reporting.
- Being an asset to a team that is creating a product that may be use, customized, or commercial software.
- Determining computer user needs.
- Analyzing system capabilities in order to resolve problems on program intent and output requirement.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of full stack development
- Experience with Python and Java development
- Proven leadership experience
- Perform Test-Driven Development and agile methodologies
- Ability to use 12-factor application SW architecture
- Understanding and deployment of systems with a PaaS Solution (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP)
- Delivery with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Experience working independently with clients or stakeholders by conducting interviews, observations and surveys to successfully create and implement features and user-stories
- Bachelor’s Degree
- US Citizenship and active Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISR tasking communications
- Understanding of common Air Force communication schemas
- Sensor management (C2 or MM)
