Summary
Support the Warehouse Supervisor in driving operational excellence by ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant warehouse operations. This multifunctional role provides support for the Operations, Inventory and Traffic Department. Contributing to maximizing productivity, inventory, accuracy, and service levels through effective coordination, problem-solving and adherence to company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and direct carrier drivers upon arrival, ensuring proper trailer assignment for loading and unloading based on the daily schedule using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Partner with the supervisor to investigate and resolve discrepancies between production and warehouse operations, including inventory variances and transaction errors.
Ensure all discrepancies between shipping documentation and received quantities are identified, investigated, and resolved prior to system entry.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory verification across designated warehouse areas.
Monitor and resolve receiving discrepancies coordinating corrections with manufacturing plants and Quality.
Create and process receipts in WMS in a timely manner upon trailer arrival.
Coordinate maritime shipments TROS including communication with carriers and dispatch.
Support damage processing activities, including documentation, adjustment and disposal coordination.
Handle sample requests or plant-required rework by creating necessary orders and documentation; generate manual orders and commercial invoices as required.
Prepare and organize all required documentation and physical task assignments to enable smooth, efficient, and productive daily operations.
Proactively communicate equipment shortages, operational constraints, and issues impacting workflow to the operation and logistic team.
Complete and verify all shipping-related documentation, including packing lists, seal assignments, and barcode allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support cross-training initiatives and help team members as needed to maintain operational continuity.
Perform material handling tasks as needed, including the safe operation of forklifts and hand trucks following established procedures and safety standards. Dispatching products according to documentation, verifying location, item code, lot number, quantities, product condition, and cleanliness.
Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety regulations, and all departmental policies.
Demonstrate leadership by supporting team performance, driving continuous improvement, and assuming supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs and operational objectives.

Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and general computer applications.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing between 10–50 pounds.
Certified or capable of operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Flexibility to work extended hours based on operational demands.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high performance standards
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
