- User Research & Insights: Conduct and analyze user research using various methods (e.g., observation, surveys, interviews, user testing) to gather deep insights into user needs and behavior.
- Discovery & Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with the Product Manager to conduct discovery research and customer co-development that informs and shapes the product roadmap, aligning it with user needs and business goals.
- Design & Prototyping: Translate user insights and business requirements into concept designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that simplify complexity of data and workflow for expert users. Expertise in mobile-first and responsive design is a must.
- Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a global design team in Europe and the US, as well as with key stakeholders in Europe and the US, to ensure alignment and high-quality execution of designs.
- Implementation Support: Partner with developers in Europe to ensure that the designs are implemented to the highest standards, providing guidance throughout the development process in a fast-paced and iterative environment
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in end-to-end product design, with a strong focus on user research and interaction design in mobile and responsive apps.
- B2B Mobile Experience: Previous experience with data-heavy mobile software and complex use cases is essential. We also appreciate previous experience in retail, grocery, store operations, or field operation solutions.
- Challenging assumptions: Demonstrated ability to challenge existing assumptions and product requirements based on user research and your understanding of user needs
- Dev collaboration: Experience working directly with developers through implementation in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Communication: Comfortable presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- International experience: Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment with stakeholders in the US and Europe.
- Proactivity: Ability to self-manage and contribute to a positive team atmosphere, sharing knowledge, and solving problems collaboratively.
- Ability to travel: The role has an expectation to travel and meet customers and stakeholders face to face for co-development. Most of the trips would be within the US.
