Next Phase Solutions and Services is seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to oversee the full testing lifecycle for a data-intensive software development program. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of test plans and automated scripts, manage defect tracking, and support all user testing activies in an Agile enviornment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and performance meet stringent federal standards.

This position is contingent upon contract award, and selected candidates may be asked to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI) to confirm availability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies on software development programs, including defining/testing user story acceptance criteria
• 5+ years of experience converting user stories and acceptance criteria into detailed test scripts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Senior Leadership
• 5+ years of experience in planning and managing interoperability testing (e.g., interfaces, data quality)
• Preferred 5+ years of experience as Test Lead on data visualization implementation projects
• Familiarity with intelligence databases and data feeds
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field or equivalent five years of experience
• Active Secret Clearance (Must be adjudicated by a U.S. government clearance issuing authority).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on the needs of the client
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to team with others to meet project objectives
• Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile; SAFe knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills, are required.

Salary Range:

• $107,000 - $140,000

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range reflects a broad spectrum of potential candidates with salary offers based on skills, knowledge, and expertise in the field.
