Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Software Intern / Entry Level Software Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals seeking hands-on experience in software development. As our Software Intern / Entry Level Software Engineer, you will work closely with our integrated hardware team members to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that address real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives.

2. Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.

3. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.

4. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for software components.

5. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.

6. Support the integration of software solutions with existing systems and platforms.

7. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues reported by users.

Requirements

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and principles.

- Required proficiency in Python, C++ 

- Preferred proficiency in C#

- Familiarity with software development tools and frameworks (e.g., Git, Docker, React, Spring Boot).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus.

Preferred:

- Experience with integration of cameras, motors and motor controllers as well as various hardware interface capabilities.

- Knowledge of image processing & OpenCV
