We are looking for a Network Credentialing & Enrollment Intern who wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. This internship will involve supporting our Credentialing Team with payer enrollment applications, managing CAQH profiles for the Talkspace group, and supporting the enrollment process for the group’s providers. The role will maintain a close relationship with the Network Payer Team and support the day-to-day credentialing operations of provider workflows.
Talkspace is headquartered in New York, NY, but this role can be remote and will report to our Network Credentialing Manager.
What You'll Do:
Payer Enrollment
- Submit group enrollment applications via payer enrollment portals
- Manage CAQH group profiles and confirm that providers are linked to the correct location and payer
- Access data in credentialing systems and input the data into the CAQH system
- Collaborate with the Payer Team to ensure new and existing payer relationships are maintained
- Ensure efficient certification applications are submitted and processed for each provider
- Collaborate with the Credentialing Manager and Credentialing Specialist to ensure a roster update is submitted timely and efficiently
- Work closely with the payer point of contact to manage the enrollment process from start to finish
Credentialing
- Perform daily credentialing functions as needed
- Coordinate with Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) to ensure timely completion of credentialing reviews
- Perform weekly follow-up reviews of provider statuses and communicating status updates to CVO
- Correspond with providers for missing data elements such as NPI numbers and/or CAQH profile information
- Correspond with providers to advise on their status via Zendesk
- Document credentialing correspondence with providers and/or CVO
- Notify incomplete credentialing statuses to providers
- Ensuring accurate storage records of provider files
Team Collaboration
- Be an active participant and problem solver in recurrent meetings
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- High school diploma (required)

- Previous credentialing experience or previous industry experience in the behavioral health or mental health field
