Field Technician I – Northern Indiana (Goshen Area)

Are you someone who thrives outdoors, loves technology, and enjoys making a visible impact in your community? TWG Engineering, a division of The Will Group, is looking for Field Technicians ready to hit the ground running—literally.
What You'll Do:
As a Field Technician, you’ll be inspecting utility assets across rural and metro areas of Northern Indiana, collecting critical data using GPS and other advanced tech, and helping keep the power flowing across the country.

Walk 5–10 miles a day across various terrains

Use industry-leading GPS tools and survey equipment

Upload inspection data and communicate with local residents

Travel to project sites and work outdoors in all seasons

What You’ll Need:
✔ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 lbs
✔ Great communication and attention to detail
✔ Comfort working in diverse weather conditions
✔ Integrity, curiosity, and adaptability
Preferred but not required:
• Utility experience, GIS or land surveying knowledge, or field tech background.

Salary Range: The hourly rate for this position starts between $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

- Experience working with utilities.
- Land surveying, GIS surveying, above ground utility locating.
