Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Operations & Logistics this position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehousing activities by implementing quality, productivity, production, and customer service standards. The position is responsible for achieving the appropriate level of volume within relevant time limits. The goal is to ensure that daily operations are not just met but exceeded. The position also plans, participates, and supervises the operations of the Service Center. This role also evaluates team members performance by tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Manager of Operations & Logistics in day-to-day 2nd Shift operations.
  • Directs all duties being performed by employees, maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees.
  • Identifies appropriate process improvements and better ways to do the job.
  • Enforces safety standards.
  • Complete applicable paperwork (i.e shipping/tracking tables) per standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory agencies (i.e DOT)
  • Ensures orders are delivered nightly to the appropriate facilities
  • Maintains overall warehouse cleanliness.
  • Performs labeling, sorting of totes, wrapping, picking, receiving, packing, and repacking as needed.
  • Participate in inventory/cycle count activities as needed and report variances to leadership
  • Performs Audits on orders and reviews picking discrepancies with Team Members
  • Serves as backup to other warehouse roles, as needed.
  • Provides training to technicians in each section, ensuring that current written policies and precures are observed, and high productivity is achieved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

 

Experience:

Warehousing or supply chain background preferred.Forklift operator preferredDriving Company vehicles including box truck and delivery van preferred.

 

Licensure:

Minimum license requirements: Valid Driver’s License
