Job Description

The Residual Value Management team is seeking a Manager of Strategic Analytics who is passionate about finance and has a significant background in investment banking and management consulting. As Fleet Strategic Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to bring your skills to the table and help optimize our organization's vehicle portfolio. In this role, you will utilize your financial analysis skills, strategic mindset, and passion for fleet management to drive the success of our operations. 

  • Develop and execute investment strategies for our vehicle fleet portfolio.
  • Utilize option pricing methods and evaluation methodologies to maximize returns.
  • Build sophisticated financial models in Excel to assess portfolio performance and risk.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with fleet investments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the process of selecting vehicles for purchase, considering strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Negotiate with vendors and leasing partners to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Communicate portfolio performance, investment strategies, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting, with a focus on financial modeling and strategic decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and perform in-depth analysis.
  • Strong understanding of investment principles, option pricing methods, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience in portfolio risk management and asset allocation strategies.
  • Knowledge of vehicle fleet management or automotive finance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
