About the role

The Building Envelope Inspector will provide building enclosure and waterproofing inspections.


Pay is $23/hr.- $30/hr.
*Pay Rate may be negotiable; depending on experience, skillset, and additional certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site inspections of building envelope and waterproofing components.
  • Provide written reports that include review of building plans and standards, digital documentation.
  • Must be able to communicate with clients in explaining inspection procedures and findings.
  • Be able to pass certification exams when required to obtain new certifications or training. 
  • Travel throughout CA, as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in building envelope construction
  • Ability to walk, drive, climb ladders, work at tall heights off of scaffolds
  • Possess a valid Driver's License, with acceptable driving record.
  • Possess national certifications for building envelope or waterproofing (ICC, AWCI, IIBEC) or the ability to obtain them at beginning of employment.
