We are seeking experienced Medical Collection Specialists to join our team. They will assist with:

• Reviewing amounts for underpayment
• Contacting insurance companies on outstanding claims
• Handling corrections and resubmissions of claims
• Processing all appeal requests within the time frame required
• Processing approved adjustments
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of medical billing practices and claim reimbursement
• Knowledge of Brightree software is an asset 
• Strong working knowledge of insurance denials and appeals processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented and organized
