<h2>What's the role?</h2> <p><strong>About The Parking &amp; Electric Vehicle (EV) Team<u></u></strong>To make the journey complete, the last meters matter a lot. In fact, last meters can be the most stressful part of the trip: finding the free parking slot, paying for the parking, and finding the parking slot with an EV charging capability.The foundation for the seamless last-meter experience relies on the conflation of dynamic Parking &amp; EV data combined with other HERE mapping elements such as Building Footprints and Indoor Maps. By adding Digital Ticketing &amp; Payment services to the portfolio, we will support drivers to book in advance and travel even more at ease.The Parking &amp; EV services will have multiple routes to market, as a standalone product as well as integrated with other HERE products such as Search, Places and HERE Navigation-on-Demand. Technically, the Parking &amp; EV teams build the HERE Platform services that process and deliver static and dynamic Parking &amp; EV data to customers.<strong><u></u></strong>At HERE Technologies it is all about our core value <strong>Learn Fast </strong>. Within the team we all have our special competences, but above all, we help others to achieve our product deliveries together. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive technical work inside the teams.</li> <li>Work hands on do deliver high quality code. </li> <li>Help design the APIs that will be used by our customers.</li> <li>Debug problems like high latencies, find the rout cause and design fixes.</li> <li>Support existing product including on calls duty.</li> <li>Work with our Architect and SCRUM to build reliable and resilient service that achieves highest availability and throughput.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Who are you?</h2> <p><strong>Must Have:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Very good</strong> communication skills in <strong>English</strong> both written and spoken (remote international development team).</li> <li>Several years of backend application development experience in functional programming language <strong>(Scala).</strong></li> <li>Practical knowledge of data structures and algorithms used when processing large volumes of data.</li> <li>Experience in working with Continuous Integration tools, especially <strong>GitLab.</strong></li> <li>Understanding of deployment and monitoring processes using<strong> Kubernetes, Grafana and Splunk Knowledge</strong> in high throughput systems using technologies like <strong>Redis, Memcached or Kafka.</strong></li> <li>Ability to write basic bash scripts.</li> <li>Ability to write reports based on data set’s.</li> <li>Experience working in an agile software development environment as a part of the <strong>Scrum team</strong>.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of programming practices, strive to write great code that is reusable, flexible, and reliable.</li> <li>Strong quality mindset is considered a must: unit testing, performance testing, writing testable code.</li> <li>Self-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player with an agile mindset.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>Spark</strong> or <strong>Flink</strong></li> <li>Experience in <strong>AWS</strong> cloud technologies.</li> <li>Experience in Java</li> <li>Good skills in geo-spatial data (vector and raster) and algorithms </li> <li>Familiar with geo-spatial-standards (e.g. Spatial Features Specification, GeoTIFF) </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer?</st
