The Sr. Specialist for Wireless Network Engineering is responsible to Design, implement, maintain, document, and troubleshoot Novartis Next-Generation Wireless infrastructure. The main goal is to ensure that the wireless network operates smoothly, securely, and in line with the business requirements.
This involves primarily working with Wireless protocols, technologies, and infrastructure to establish reliable and efficient communication between systems and users.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:  

• Designing/Implementing Wireless Solutions

• Troubleshooting and Monitoring enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba)

• Writing Documentation, collaborating cross functions, and support (HLD, LLD, Vendor management)

• Continuous Learning and development within wireless network space

• Change and Problem Management, as well as issue resolution when needed

• Proof Of Concepts for new solutions together with architects

• Support EMEA normal business hours (8AM-5PM, No Rotational shifts), with occasional support to US team

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCIE or equivalent level from other vendors.

• 8+ years of experience in Designing and Implementing Next-Gen Wireless Networks.

• Previous experience of working as a SME/Lead Engineer for Cisco Unified Wireless

• Familiarity with RF planning and capabilities of performing site surveys using one or more tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet etc.)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency in creating architecture documents (HLD/LLD/Work Instructions)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
