This position supports the upkeep and safe operation of Point State Park through daily maintenance tasks that keep the park clean and functional. Through your work, you will help to ensure that the facilities, equipment, and grounds remain in good condition for visitors throughout the year. As a Maintenance Repairman 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep on buildings, restrooms, and park infrastructure
- Grounds Care: Clean public areas, collect waste material, and maintain lawns and landscaped spaces
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain park machinery including mowers, tractors, trimmers, and skid steers
- System Repairs: Assist with electrical and mechanical repairs for the park fountain and reflecting pool
- Weather Response: Remove snow and clear debris from walkways and wharfs during severe weather
- General Repair Skills: Use basic masonry, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation knowledge for maintenance tasks

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work will be scheduled 5 days/37.5 hours per week, and will include a 30-minute lunch. Work days and shifts will vary and will include holidays, weekends, and evenings.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
