About the role

The Core Systems Analyst Support role provides day‑to‑day operational stability for the Credit Union’s core banking ecosystem, with an emphasis on Fiserv DNA batch cycles, Automic workload automation monitoring, and production validation. The role triages overnight alerts, executes end‑of‑day checks, validates statement and notice cycles, coordinates tickets and service requests, and supports analysts by ensuring consistent best practices and reliable processing. The position helps ensure high‑quality, risk‑aware execution that meets Idaho Central Credit Union’s business objectives and minimizes negative impact to members and internal users.

  • Automic dashboard monitoring: Work daily cards on the Automic dashboard; clean up aborted jobs; identify root causes for blocked/waiting jobs; and assign or re‑queue runs per procedure.
  • Batch/job control: Monitor core processing windows (EOD/EOM, holiday schedules, special cycles) and confirm prerequisite jobs, dependencies, and critical path completion; escalate exceptions according to run‑book.
  • Statement and notice cycle validation: Verify statement/notice generation, counts, and outputs; reconcile to expected volumes; confirm delivery readiness; and document variances and remediation steps.
  • Ticket coordination & SLAs: Intake, triage, and assign tickets on the GI board; monitor team inbox queues; track SLA timers; and follow up to unblock throughput so analysts can focus on technical improvements.

  • Reporting & documentation: Produce daily status summaries (jobs completed, exceptions, tickets), maintain dashboards/scorecards, and update operational documentation and playbooks.
  • Cross‑team/vendor coordination: Collaborate with Credit Union teams and third‑party vendors (e.g., Fiserv, Broadcom/CA) to resolve production issues promptly and to improve process reliability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Technical skills: SQL basics (preferred) (querying logs/data for validation), scripting fundamentals (PowerShell, Bash), and Windows/Linux operational comfort; exposure to job/queue monitoring tools, log analysis, and incident/ticket systems (e.g., Jira/Service Desk GI board).
  • Operational strengths: Background supporting 24x7 production operations in high‑availability environments; strong attention to detail; ability to follow and improve standardized procedures; and willingness to work outside normal business hours, including early mornings or after‑hours windows.
  • Communication & collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate across teams, vendors, and management; and to document clear hand‑offs and action plans.
  • Confidentiality & compliance: Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
  • Experience: 5+ years using the Fiserv DNA interface (interfaces/extracts, dependency validation, and operational support).
  • Own first‑pass success KPIs for EOD/EOM processing; publish weekly dashboards and monthly variance analysis.
