As a Physical Therapist in our Acute Care setting, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-impact, patient-centered care across a wide range of inpatient units, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Critical Care, Med-Surgical, Neuro, and general acute care. You’ll work with a diverse patient population—from young adults to geriatric patients—supporting both surgical and non-surgical cases with varying levels of acuity. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with PTs, OTs, PT/OT Assistants, physicians, and care coordinators to ensure seamless, timely, and compassionate care during critical moments in a patient’s recovery.

A caregiver in this position works FT/40hrs/days: 7:30am—4:00pm or 8:00am—4:30pm/holidays and weekend required.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Perform initial and ongoing assessments.
Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care.
Perform physical therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate for the patient’s age and condition.
Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support caregivers.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree or certificate
Graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
