Responsible for enabling design intent realization, ensuring technical fit-for-use and print feasibility, leads design intent implementation and ensures quality and consistent visual execution across all product forms and variants in packaging.</p><p>This role requires a fundamental understanding of design, brand identity and design standards/guidelines, combined with understanding of standard industry pre-press &amp; printing knowledge, materials &amp; substrates, and artwork file construction/ requirements. Strong, proven leadership, communication, collaboration, influencing, and project management skills required.</p><p></p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Implement 2D package design executions with mastery, working with multifunctional (internal &amp; external) initiative teams</li><li>Applying deep understanding of supply chain fit-for-use requirements, pre-press &amp; printing, and print feasibility to ensure design intent realization.</li><li>Partner with pre-press &amp; printers and Design Delivery resources to assess print feasibility of design concepts, identify alternate solutions, plan &amp; attend print trials, confirm final design intent print feasibility, ensure visual consistency delivered at shelf, and resolve quality issues</li><li>Plan and manage design execution work and critical path schedule, owns elevating issues, with implications, to key business partners, at-the-right-time, to enable informed decision-making and effective resolution, and drive timely/on-quality artwork file delivery</li><li>Manage projects within WebCenter, a graphics lifecycle management tool. Provides low-level support regarding WebCenter to the multi-functional team.</li><li>Deliver Core Packaging Work, utilizing BIC processes, technology, tools.</li><li>Independently and collaboratively bring innovative ideas/search &amp; reapply learning that drive continual improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency.</li><li>Proactively explore both cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities. Able to accurately measure all Design Delivery metrics on a quarterly/annual basis.</li><li>Build capability &amp; mastery in self and Design delivery community, and actively drive organization/company process transformation efforts</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Job Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Design-related field</li><li>English proficiency, verbal and written.</li><li>Experience in design production and printing (Design Agency, Pre-Press Agency, Production House, Printer) within the CPG industry (preferred). Understanding of graphic file construction within Illustrator &amp; Photoshop.</li><li>Deep understanding of pre-press and printing and artwork file industry standards, print production, print processes and press capabilities, inks, materials/substrates, specialty inks/finishes, proofing, and print trials.</li><li>Understanding of the color management, color development process, spectral color data and digital proofing.
