Position Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Leads individual contributors performing engineering and technical activities associated with architecture development, systems analyses, requirements decomposition, and MBSE model management & process development.
Team Execution; Drive programmatic execution for Mission Systems Solution A&A Team development activities. Develop, track and communicate metrics to quantify technical and business performance, organize all EVM reporting and analysis.
Customer Engagement: Interface daily with customers and Boeing program office teams.
Safety Oversight: Ensure personnel and product safety related to design, production, and operation of A&A solutions.
Technical Oversight & Engineering Excellence: Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight and risk management while ensuring systems engineering, technical integrity, and mission assurance for A&A solutions.
Process Improvement: Implement and enforce engineering functional excellence in people, processes, tools, and practices, while continuously assessing and updating engineering processes for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with functional counterparts to ensure process inputs and outputs meet requirements.
Compliance: Ensure engineering efforts are executed in compliance with established requirements and plans.
Mentorship & Development: Develop employees’ skills through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Resource Planning: Plan and coordinate allocation of resources to meet program goals.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
The ability to obtain Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or technical field
5+ years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (direct reports, peers, executive leaders, and customers)
Proven track record of execution in a development environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience supporting a Proprietary Program
Technical experience in complex mission systems development and integration on tactical aircraft
Experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience executing in an Agile work environment and implementing Agile Methodologies
Experience working in MSOSA, Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools
Experience across multiple phases of the product life-cycle
Experience with Mission Systems Open Architecture Standards
