As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with visitor guidance, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain required armed officer qualifications, follow applicable weapons protocols, and document security-related incidents and patrol activity accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
• Possess a .40 caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
