ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Project Control Specialist to join our team in Chesapeake, VA.  This is an onsite position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented member to join our team and be at the forefront of innovation for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)!  As a team member, you will assist in coordinating operations and reporting across the NCTE enterprise, ensuring efficient project execution. Your efforts will drastically increase our forces’ training capabilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Gather, analyze, and organize Program- and project-level data in for preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation and deliverables which enable internal and external senior leadership decision making.
  • Conduct formal and informal reviews throughout the project life cycle to review and track performance metrics against expected results.
  • Coordinate among internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed within contractual obligations, policy and process documentation, and related architecture.
  • Analyze the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate performance on project execution and support high-level Program management.  Develop and present reports on analysis findings.  Draft documentation to support project activities.
  • Ensure the use of proper technical terminology across various documentation, and that information is clear, and documents can be used by technical and non-technical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and four 4+ years related experience or Associates degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience.
  • Experience with developing and presenting reports on analysis findings
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Relevant work experience in a US Government en
