Supply Chain Planner – Advanced Robotics Commodities

As a Supply Chain Planner at 1X, you'll play a critical role in ensuring production readiness for some of the world’s most advanced bipedal robots. You’ll be responsible for planning and managing supply across five key commodity areas:

  • Motors, PCBs, and Batteries

  • Head, Neck, Spine, and Torso Assemblies

  • Upper Arm, Forearm, and Hand Mechanisms

  • Leg and Foot Structural Systems

  • Final Assembly and Test Components

Your work will directly support the reliable build and deployment of our humanoids, scaling from prototype to global production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, review, and maintain material schedules in alignment with the business plan

  • Forecast and report on current and projected material availability across Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods

  • Forecast and report on spend and PPV to ensure alignment with financial targets

  • Create and analyze "what-if" scenarios to support strategic business decisions

  • Manage inventory levels to prevent production disruptions, identifying and escalating risks proactively

  • Oversee demand and E&O processes during supply, design, or BOM changes

  • Lead cross-functional clear-to-build initiatives

  • Ensure demand, supply, and inventory align with business goals while identifying risks and opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with key departments to continuously improve internal processes and systems for greater efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Operations

  • 6+ years managing MRP schedules in ERP/MES environments

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

  • Skilled in ERP, MRP, MES systems management, capacity planning, and supply chain network optimization

  • Results-oriented and metrics-driven with strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Solid analytical and computer skills with a collaborative mindset

Nice-to-Have

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP.

  • Experience with PCB supply chain or electronic battery sourcing tools.
