Position Summary

We are seeking a Measuring Specialist to strengthen our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will leverage the measurement expertise in 3D measurements, to assure that complex measurements can be performed in-house and contribute to the developments of new parts and suppliers.

 

The Measuring Specialist will be part of our quality team in Oud-Beijerland (Netherlands, South-Holland) and will be working in a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative working culture.

Essential Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

 

  • Programming of 3D Measurements: Create coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs for new parts and maintain the programs for existing products.
  • Incoming goods inspection / product audits: Perform the incoming goods inspection of the parts based on the requirements of the drawings using various available measuring instruments.
  • Nonconforming product management: Capture the deviations in products, create a detailed report about the observations and inform the Supplier Quality Engineer and Purchasing departments.
  • New product and supplier development: Act as the measuring expert in a cross-functional team when it comes to new product and supplier development.
  • Calibration: Support the internal calibration system by performing CMM measurements on the measurement tools used within quality department and in production environment.
  • Measurement System Analysis: Assist other colleagues with MSA studies based on the project and customer requirements.
  • Supplier Capability Analysis: Perform the necessary measurements and support supplier quality engineer in assessing supplier capability.
