We are seeking a talented and creative professional with experience in workforce training design, facilitation, and evaluation; employee engagement; and event planning and execution. This role is responsible for developing and delivering impactful learning opportunities across a wide range of topics, coordinating meaningful employee recognition and appreciation events, evaluating program effectiveness, and collaborating with departments to support organizational development initiatives. If you are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, building meaningful employee programs, and making a lasting impact on the employee experience, we would love to hear from you.</span></div> <h2>Examples of duties</h2><ul><li>Design, develop, customize, deliver, and evaluate workforce training programs for diverse audiences, including bi-weekly new hire orientation.</li><li>Data and reporting analysis related to talent development and recognition via the County’s computer systems.</li><li>Create training materials and resources, including participant guides, facilitator materials, presentations, job aids, and e-learning or digital learning content.</li><li>Prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates training that supports comprehensive employee training and development plans; identifies training resources, to include in-house trainers, local training facilities and institutions, videos, manuals, automated tutorial programs, etc.</li><li>Creates and maintains resources to train and support learners on use of the technology for online and professional development.</li><li>Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service while supporting organizational learning and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement, recognition, or organizational events from concept through implementation, including the County’s Recognition and Reward Programs.</li><li>Coordinate activities related to the selection and placement of individuals in the County’s Internship programs.</li><li>Will assist with the administration of the County’s Tuition Assistance program.</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement, recognition, or organizational events from concept through implementation, including the County’s Recognition and Reward Programs.</li><li>Assists with the design, layout, and production of flyers/brochures, writes and submits articles for the County newsletters and update the County’s discount/savings program.</li><li>Performs other related administrative duties as assigned.</li></ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required.<li>Two (2) years of related experience.<li>Candidates without a degree should possess four (4) additional years of related experience.<li>Fingerprinting required.<li>PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, and SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.<li>Experience or knowledge of recognition programs is highly preferred.</li></li></li></li></li></li></ul> <h2>Supplemental information</h2><ul type="disc"><li>Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications.<li>Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency.  The County’s Administrative Office will determine who will be required to work on an incident-by-incident basis.<li>This job posting is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, or working conditions associated with the position.</li></li></li></ul>
