Job Description

  • Apply a high level of technical competency to lead complex technical projects from design through implementation, integration, and release, ensuring that the requirements of our customers are met.
  • Facilitate leadership and technical development by training and mentoring developers within the team, facilitating knowledge-transfer to other teams, and leading other team members by continuing to learn new areas. 
  • Work collaboratively with other technical teams to plan and develop new features across various embedded software components.
  • Identify risks, generate recommendations, and implement solutions to technically challenging issues.
  • Lead others by ensuring that our embedded software quality standards are met.
  • Lead the failure analysis and debug processes within the team by providing training, mentoring and documentation.
  • Work with the DevOps teams to resolve issues and ensure proper testing of software components.
  • Provide technical expertise in the real time operating system kernel, system startup/shutdown processes, hardware drivers and flash programming.
  • Meet all responsibilities with little direction or supervision.

Qualifications

BS degree with minimum of 10 years of professional experience 

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Solid understanding of C/C++ and scripting languages
  • Solid understanding of operating systems (Real-time OS is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
