Physician Services & Associate Health Manager

Job Summary :

This position reports to the Director of Physician Services. This position is responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day operations of Physician Services, and Associate Health. In addition, the individual will demonstrate excellent relationships and communication skills with associates, patients, families, and visitors.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day oversight of Physician Services and Associate Health.

• Assists with developing, identifying and/or updating protocols for operational workflows and processes.

• Processes payroll in Workday and Kronos.

• Communicates with the staff on any requests, needs, and updates.

• Supports the orientation of new employees by providing continuing education programs and in-services.

• Ensures compliance with Associate Health policies and procedures.

• Ensures compliance with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations.

• Ensures compliance with annual requirements, inoculations against vaccine preventable diseases, employee clearance to work, post medical leave, and coordination of care for employees who become ill or injured while on duty.

• Manages and coordinates employee health programs.

• Oversees development of monthly schedules for providers and support staff.

• Assists with provider and staff call ins and creates additional coverage when needed.

• Responsible for being an Epic Super User and continuous EPIC education.

• Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

• Performs miscellaneous duties and other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required in business, or healthcare related field

• At least 5+ years experience in healthcare
