The Audio Visual (AV) Training Specialist will design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, hands-on training and assist with eLearning curriculum for adult learners.

  • Develops courseware, delivers training, sets up and maintains training environment, and uses student satisfaction survey input to evaluate and improve courseware
  • Writes training manuals (instructor and participant guides) and user manuals
  • Designs and produces training tools, such as printable job aids, practice exercises, assessments and quick-reference guides
  • Delivers train-the-trainer and instructor-led training
  • Serve as the primary customer representative for development and delivery of customized training solutions and documentation
  • Works with subject matter experts to determine training requirements and deliver training to support these requirements
  • Encourages classroom participation and facilitates change management for target audience
  • Evaluates and adapts to variances in learning styles within an audience
  • Understands travel logistics and radio technician requirements to support the executive office.
  • Efficiently works in fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying priorities
  • Effectively works with a cross-functional team (subject matter experts and management
  • Produces professional deliverables using Microsoft Office suite

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, or  9+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must have TS clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI Suitability  for a Presidential Support Duty (PSD) clearance.
  • Military/business training experience
  • Experience with AV equipment to include audio mixers, production lighting, and video recording equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills

Desired:

  • Familiarity with standard instructional systems development models, such as ADDIE
  • Familiarity with education/training content and delivery solutions 
  • Verifiable training and experience as an Audio Visual Technician
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Tools such as Blackboard

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
