Job Summary
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant) primarily at our Duke Women's Health Associates at Patterson Place location as well as the Duke Women's Health Associates Brier Creek location.
Post-partum hospital rounding will be at Duke University Hospital - 2301 Erwin Rd - Durham, NC.
If a Certified Nurse Midwife, position is clinic only. There is no hospital call - delivery component for this position.
The APP will work in collaboration with attending physicians and advanced practice providers providing direct obstetrics and gynecology patient care, collecting and documenting data, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering and scheduling laboratory studies and performing consultations.
Job Hours
Primary hours will be Monday through Friday. Clinical and administrative sessions are generally 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients. Insert
Post-partum hospital rounding at Duke University Hospital will be ~8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
There is a possibility of weekend hours in the future with extended and alternative hours expected upon request/scheduling needs.
