Job Title: IT Project Manager
The Role
Fidelity Charitable is seeking an IT Project Manager within our PMO function, with a strong desire to create order and process for our growing Technology group. This role will provide creative problem solving to a backlog of pain points that will ensure our Technology processes run smoothly. This role includes overseeing a Centralized Hiring and Headcount process and reporting in order to create visibility to the lifecycle of Technology’s hiring practices. In addition, this role includes managing a PMO backlog, coordination, and communications regarding new processes and procedures for our Technology leadership and development teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor degree required (preferably in business administration, finance, computer information systems or related fields)
- 6-9+ years of business experience required; Financial Services experience desired
- A proven track record in problem solving and critical thinking where you provided analysis, a plan, and measured progress against the goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Build trust and key working relationships within a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a range of tasks, prioritize work independently, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira is preferred.
- A technical aptitude is nice to have
The Team
This team is part of the Technology PMO within Fidelity Charitable, whose mission is to grow the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple and effective. The Technology PMO supports this mission by scaling our Technology process and procedures so that we grow efficiently. Our stakeholders include the CIO, Engineering Leaders, Product Area Leads, Technology hiring managers, Technology Development teams, and partner with Strategy & Planning and Finance groups.
