Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a Professional Geologist or Engineer License for the Pittsburgh or Conshohocken office. This full-time position within our Environmental group will lead a team to help manage a variety of oil and gas investigation/remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience as a team manager and investigation/remediation project experience, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Building strong client relationships.
- Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
- Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
- Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
- Manages more complex clients and projects.
- Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
- Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits.
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for small to mid-sized investigation/remediation projects.
- Will require some regional travel for field visits.
- Supervise up to 10 staff.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Geology, or closely related field, and
- 6+ years of Project Management experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- PE or PG License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting
- 8 years of project management experience
- Experience working for clients in the oil and gas market sector.
- Experience working with environmental regulatory agencies.
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
