- Assist professional staff with clerical tasks which may include: scheduling meetings, returning phone calls, answering emails, taking meeting minutes, purchasing items, and proofreading documents.
- Assist at events
- Create advertising posters
- Advertise CAPS events
- Provide feedback and suggestions for innovative changes
- Plan, implement, and evaluate programming - Including but not limited to room reservations, catering reservations, advertising, supply purchases, cash handling, event set-up, staffing events, and finding and leading volunteers.
- Other duties as assigned. You will get to help out at many events across campus, create advertisements, and other clerical duties. Position Type: General Student Employment Position Requirements:- Compassion and interest in working with students, faculty, staff, and employers
- Some understanding of Ferris structures and resources
- Attention to detail
- Some technology proficiency with Microsoft products and Canva
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Must be able to pass a background check by the university
