Job Description:
General Function / Summary:
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for the implementation, administration, and oversight of associate benefit, compensation and recognition programs. This role will assist with the development of the Total Rewards roadmap to ensure that the company attracts, motivates, and retains the best talent.
Essential Duties:
- Design, implement, communicate, and administer compensation and benefits programs that align with the Total Rewards Strategy.
- Lead communication efforts to ensure that managers and associates understand the Total Rewards strategy and programs.
- Proactively review compensation and benefits matters, market trends, benchmarking, retention, and performance indicators and recommend enhancements to Total Rewards programs to drive improved workforce performance across the business.
- Prepare and present analyses, materials, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage third party vendor relationships relevant to benefits and compensation and associate benefits; ensure appropriate service levels are being delivered to improve service offerings and/or reduce costs.
- Remain up-to-date on benefits, compensation and employment law changes and trends and proactively offer input on actions needed to remain compliant with employment laws.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements of various associate benefit and compensation programs.
- Execute people leader duties, such as performance management, timely completion of required training, ensure team metrics and associate career growth objectives are met.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 7 years’ of Human Resources experience that includes in-depth knowledge of associate benefit plan design, administration, legal, compliance, and compensation management
- Ability to link business objectives and results to the company's Total Rewards strategy
- Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and proven management skills
- Knowledge of HR, Benefits, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
