Global Chief Technology Officer

As the Global Chief Technology Officer of Credera’s Global Digital, this role is responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm’s overall objectives. This role provides visionary leadership, drive innovation, and oversees the development and implementation of digital solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients. This role requires a forward-thinking technologist with a deep understanding of emerging technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful digital initiatives on a global scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technology Strategy and Innovation: 

• Develop and articulate the global technology vision and strategy for the Digital Practice division
• Lead research and development efforts to identify emerging technologies and trends, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation
• Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creative thinking and experimentation within the technology teams 

Client Engagement and Solution Delivery: 

• Collaborate with clients to understand their digital transformation needs and challenges, providing strategic technology guidance and innovative solutions 
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry best practices
• Drive excellence in project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction 

Team Leadership and Development: 

• Recruit, develop, and retain top technology talent, fostering a high-performance culture within the Digital Practice division 
• Provide inspirational leadership, mentorship, and coaching to technology teams, empowering them to achieve their full potential 
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across global teams, promoting a cohesive and innovative work environment 

Partnerships and Alliances: 

• Support the alliance team in maturing and advancing strategic partnerships and alliances with technology vendors, startups, and industry experts to enhance the organization’s digital capabilities  
• Evaluate and negotiate technology partnerships, licenses, and collaborations to support the development of innovative digital solutions 

Operational Excellence: 

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of digital initiatives and drive continuous improvement
• Optimize operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in solution development and delivery
• Drive global synergy with all consultants and technologists to ensure unity in one brand
• Ensure collaboration and partnership with other Omnicom entities 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and Skills  

• Extensive background and experience in digital, experience, data and Martech platform - both enterprise (like Adobe and Salesforce) and point solutions (like Acquia and commercetools) 
• Digital Commerce domain expertise with different audiences, channels and platforms 
• Extensive knowledge of digital technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing, AI, IoT, and data analytics. 
• Strong business acumen with a track record of successfully aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in managing and growing a team of technology professionals.
• Strong communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects 
• Team player with a professional business acumen 
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS Office
• Ability to work independently 
• Detail-oriented and organized 
• Must be able to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change  

Education & Experience  

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering); a Master’s or MBA is preferred 
• Proven experience as a CTO, Vice President of Technology, or similar leadership role in a digital-focused organization 

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
• Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, stoop and kneel
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
