The Merchant Product organization is a team of experienced product leaders that builds on the DoorDash vision of connecting local delivery networks in cities all across the world. Within this organization, the Business Applications team executes major initiatives to drive internal efficiency, strategically enables sales and services to exceed objectives, and manages the technical builds to meet these goals. It’s a pivotal time to join the Business Application team as we are the backbone of helping DoorDash scale. About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer to become an expert in how our company operates and provide direction for a rapidly scaling instance. In this role you will work with Program Managers, Technical Architects and Business Stakeholders to co-create processes and frameworks to help our sales organization run effectively and efficiently in order to support business strategies and objectives. You will report into the Application Engineering Manager on the Business Applications team hubbed within our Product organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

• Work with Program Managers and Technical Architects to craft the optimal solutions to the business problems identified by business leadership and internal stakeholders
• Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices. Make recommendations to management regarding implementation as appropriate
• Provide on-going support and system administration to quickly fix issues with Salesforce.com
• Evaluate, select, implement, and integrate technology tools into a solution to support our business unit stakeholders
• Experience integrating and configuring Salesforce connected apps such as: Formstack, Docusign, Hubspot, Cloudingo

Qualifications

• BA/BS/Masters in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer
• Completed multiple end to end Salesforce CPQ implementations
• Experience in supporting, designing, and developing Salesforce.com in a large enterprise environment
• Hands on experience of Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick functionality including various featuresets like Product setup, Product Options, Product configuration & rules, Pricing, Discounting, Quote templates, Order management, Contract management and amendments
• Expertise in Product catalog, Pricing Configuration and new product introduction CPQ set up.
• Thorough understanding of salesforce system limits to build at scale
• Strong understanding of Release Management process and CI/CD
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is preferred
• Salesforce Advanced Developer Certification is preferred
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification or Salesforce Developer Certification preferred
• Hands on experience in performing complex data loads
• Knowledge of Salesforce API’s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools
• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications
• Write coding solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)
• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications
• You have a strong understanding of declarative constructs in Salesforce
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce
• Possess an expert level of knowledge of a CRM Sales and Customer Service functionality and integrations to external systems
• Experience with Security Model in Salesforce
• Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations, and connected web
