Job Description:
The Manager leads the CyberzcapeTM Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, including defining a go-to-market strategy, developing a product roadmap, identifying customer cyber needs, understanding the competitive landscape for the platform, and implementing an effective marketing and sales plan that will lead to revenue growth for the product line.
The Manger will also be a subject matter expert responsible for performing cybersecurity assessments, reviewing critical infrastructure designs for cybersecurity compliance, improving the security posture, and acting as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity across the company and the Parsons ecosystem of customers.
The Manager will also support business development activities with customers in the critical infrastructure sectors to include electric and water utilities, aviation, rail and other transit, public safety, etc. These responsibilities include responding to client proposals requiring cyber services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cyberzcape Product Management:
- Work with Product Marketing, research the cybersecurity industry, and understand the competitive landscape for the Cyberzcape platform.
- Work with Product Marketing to define a Cyberzcape go-to-market strategy
- Identify Cyberzcape customer needs and develop a priority list.
- Working with Product Marketing, implement an effective Cyberzcape marketing and sales plan.
- Find new leads for Cyberzcape and fill the business development funnel with opportunities for application of Cyberzcape.
- Conduct industry and market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for Cyberzcape.
- Participate in business development, capture, and proposal development activities in the USA and Canada for sales of Cyberzcape, either as a separate order or as part of a larger project, either internal to Parsons or as a teammate of a partner company.
- Update the VP and ParsonsX management team, and executives as needed, on each of the above topics, providing plans, objectives, status, product management needs, and roadblocks to success.
- Cybersecurity Services:
- Work with customers to identify cybersecurity and risk assessment needs and assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Lead and manage cybersecurity and risk assessment projects from initiation through completion, specifically tailored to the customer's operational needs.
- Perform cybersecurity and risk assessments, applying guidelines, frameworks, or standards as stipulated by the customer, such as those from NIST.
- Review critical infrastructure designs, including green and brown field construction, for cybersecurity compliance by applying standards applicable to the customer from national and international organizations such as ISO, APTA, and NERC.
- Meet with internal stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Improve security posture of customer networks by reviewing customers cybersecurity regulatory controls, standards, policies, plans, and procedures, or write such policies, plans, and other documents according to contract requirements, and providing customers advice and assistance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity across the company and the Parsons ecosystem of customers.
- Attend national and international meetings and conferences with potential customers and industry representatives to offer Parson’s cybersecurity products and services and to maintain technical proficiency.
- Write and present briefings on relevant topics and meet with other attendees and presenters to gather information on industry issues and opportunities for Parsons.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in solutioning for Cybersecurity programs related to critical infrastructure such as rail, airports, utilities, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent (4) added years of experience in the field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GISCP).
