Expected Semimonthly Salary: $3,335.76

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection of Cohort Trainees 45%

  • Recruit, interview, and select trainee candidates to create an on-going series of cohorts aligned to the training program calendar

Direct Supervision 25%

  • Directly oversee onboarding and classroom training efficacy for the trainees during the first 8 weeks of the trainee program
  • Obtain and document all required acknowledgements and policies required for CCRC new hires as well the training program

Training Program Quality & Standards 25%

  • With the Case Management Supervisors, conduct check in meetings for each trainee benchmark stage to obtain feedback on trainee errors, common areas of challenges, and to further analyze the training program structure and content.
  • Analyze and identify common error themes and/or common denominator trends (e.g. trainers, classroom content, etc) to determine program recommendations or corrections.

Program Operations Support 5%

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of Title 5, Funding Terms and Condition, County Regulations, Agency Policy and responsible for the consistent application of contract regulations throughout the department.
  • Act as a liaison between various program departments collaborating with program supervisors, division supervisors, coordinators, and/or managers.

Job Specifications

Education/Experience:

  • Two years’ equivalent work experience in a supervisory or leadership role or any combination of education and experience which would enable the candidate to successful perform the functions of the position. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of GAIN, CalWORKs, CCFA programs, Resource & Referral programs, and other programs, with emphasis in child care issues and an understanding of ‘funding terms and conditions’ of subsidized child care programs is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to work with the public. Ability to honor confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills are essential due to the frequent use of computer programs to perform daily duties. Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Windows, Excel, Access, and Word required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, organizational, and communication skills; ability to successfully interface with all levels of staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid California Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record required.
