The Role

We are looking for a Credentialing & RCM Leader to own and elevate our end-to-end provider credentialing and revenue cycle operations across a growing multi-state platform. This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for someone who can build structure, drive accountability, and improve performance while rolling up their sleeves when needed.

This leader will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Clinical Leadership, and People to ensure providers are credentialed efficiently, billing is accurate and timely, and revenue is optimized as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Credentialing & Provider Enrollment

• Own end-to-end provider credentialing and payer enrollment across all states and entities

• Ensure timely onboarding of providers (CAQH, PECOS, NPI, DEA, state licenses, payer contracts, etc.)

• Build and maintain standardized credentialing workflows, timelines, and SLAs

• Proactively identify and resolve credentialing delays that impact revenue

• Serve as the point person for providers, payers, and internal stakeholders

Revenue Cycle Management

• Oversee RCM performance across billing, coding, collections, and denials management

• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to improve AR, cash collections, and clean claim rates

• Monitor key RCM KPIs (days in AR, denial rates, charge lag, collection rates, etc.)

• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and data-driven decisions

• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and healthcare regulations

Leadership & Scale

• Build, manage, and develop credentialing and RCM team members (internal and/or vendors)

• Create clear accountability, reporting, and escalation paths

• Support M&A integrations by rapidly onboarding new practices and providers

• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, revenue visibility, and performance reporting

• Implement tools, dashboards, and documentation to support scalable growth

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing and/or revenue cycle leadership

• Deep understanding of multi-state provider credentialing and payer enrollment

• Strong RCM expertise with a track record of improving revenue outcomes

• Experience in a high-growth, PE-backed, or multi-entity healthcare environment

• Operationally strong, detail-oriented, and highly organized

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch

• Collaborative leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
