Your profile

• High School Graduate
• Bachelor's Degree or certification preferred
• Essentially 5+ years of industry related experience
• Preferred minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong customer service background
• Highly motivated and results driven

Your Duties

• Manage operations of the Import department for air and sea divisions for branch of minimum 2 full time employees or their equivalent at all times
• Fulfill all other responsibilities as assigned by management on a day-to-day basis
• Utilize discretion and judgement to engage vendors to increase branch and company margins on each shipment
• Always utilize discretion and personal judgement to ship goods using the most efficient and cost efficient and cost effective route to increase margin on each shipment
• Ensure speedy delivery of cargo
• Oversee pick up on behalf of the client/agent as required
• Process air and sea freight debtors and creditors in a quick, but adequate manner by verifying 100% correctness prior to sending to accounts
• Review quotes and record rates to clients and prospective clients
• React in a quick and administratively feasible manner when reviewing discrepancies for customers
